Fall is already here, time to get dressed for it!
When it comes to fall/winter trends, colors that mimic the colors of the trees, leaves and sky are the way to go. I’m talking about blue, green, brown, purple, burgundy, orange (or galactic cobalt, sage leaf, astro dust, digital lavender, apricot crush for the color lovers).
However, when talking about exactly what to wear, it gets a little more confusing to choose: pants, tops, shoes, coats, accessories. How to choose between all of the overwhelming options?
Well, let me help you out with going the “less is more” route so you can learn how to get the look you’re going for – from elegant to effortless – this fall/winter season.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Oversized Blazers and Coats
An oversized blazer is a statement piece. They are perfect for making any outfit better, because of their classical and timeless charactheristic (that’s why it’s here!).
With their loose fit and long length, they provide both comfort and elegance. Pair them with any type of pants (jeans, tailored etc) and any kind of top or shirt, making sure to find one that works for you, because some are longer or shorter.
Tank Tops
Cool and casual, right? Can be worn with shorts, denim, skirts, even only panties for a good night’s sleep.
However, for this occasion, tank tops are a must, more like a key piece in an outfit for this Fall. Honestly, I couldn’t love it more, I have like, 10 of them and would probably get more.
Some of them are more elegant, some are more casual, think of an occasion and there’s a tank top that would go with it. So YEAH. Tank tops are on.
Scarves (and how to style them)
If you don’t like scarves, you can scroll, this isn’t for you, sorry. But for the accessories lovers, it’s definetely for you.
Wrap them around your neck for a more classy look, or maybe tie them around your waist for a boho 70s good-vibes vibe.
You can also – hear me out – style them with a leather jacket and ankle boots, and maybe pair them with a maxi dress and sandals for a day brunch look.
Maxi Skirts
Who doesn’t love a little bit of boho pieces in their closet? These versatile pieces are perfect for any occasion, and any season.
With their long length and comfortable fit, they provide both style and comfort.
Pair them with a tank top, sandals, boots for a cute and casual look, or dress them up with a blouse and heels, there’s no going wrong with these skirts.
Ballet Flats
Want to keep it simple? Ballet flats are the perfect go to shoes to turn your outfit into an elegant one.
They were a thing back in the day and everyone thought the trend died; well, Kylie Jenner made us think twice when she posted a fit wearing the cutest ballet flats.
Also, with their comfortable fit and easy slip-on design, they’re perfect for everyday wear.
Style them with skinny jeans and a sweater for a casual look, or pair them with a midi dress for a more dressed-up vibe.
Ankle Boots
Finally, I left the best for last. Ankle boots are on the list of shoes that never go out of style, ever. They are considered a go-to choice when the weather is starting to get more gloomy, hence, they are here on this list.
Pair them up with any kind of trousers or skirts, let your instinct choose, because you can do no wrong with them.
From the basic black to a wine-ish color, choose whatever color works best for you.
